Ekaterina G.
I have extensive education and experience in childcare, children's psychology, pedagogy and health literacy. I have worked as a teacher for over a decade and as a private nanny/governess for 5 years. Diplomas and references are available upon request. I have raised two daughters, the older one is graduating from an Ivy-league university this year, and the younger one is an aspiring professional athlete. I value diversity and can find a unique approach to every individual in my care to help them thrive. Another important value for me is life-long learning. I like to keep an open mind and educate myself on things that interest me. This active engagement with life and constant knowledge-seeking makes me a good companion for curious children of any age, and it allows me to engage in meaningful conversations with their parents. In my work with children I emphasize the importance of True Play for healthy maturation. I engage children in outdoor physical activities, sensory play and crafts, and in daily book reading and storytelling. I also have decades of experience cooking healthy meals for children with particular dietary needs. I have experience with twins and have done research and presentations on this topic!
