Emma K.
My name is Emma, and I am 21 years old. I just graduated from the University of Guelph with an undergraduate degree and am taking a year off from school to work and volunteer. I have over 10 years of experience working with children in various settings, including daycare (for toddlers and preschoolers), summer camp, and as a substitute teacher. I am also able to drive a car, do the shopping, cook, help with homework, and do some light housework. I grew up playing hockey, soccer, and volleyball, so I am always ready to engage in athletic activities! I am also extremely crafty and creative, as I had my own cake business in high school. If you are looking for a babysitter or nanny and would like to know more about me, feel free to contact me.
For as long as I can remember, I have had a passion for working with children. My very first job was babysitting, and I eventually had the opportunity to work as an Early Childhood Assistant at Little Explorer Montessori in Elmira, where I programmed activities and lessons for toddlers and preschoolers while providing optimal care all day. I have also worked as a camp counsellor and substitute teacher in various elementary schools, where I had the opportunity to educate and care for school-aged children. In the past, I have volunteered at Kidsability and served as a U11 soccer coach, as well as worked in kindergarten classrooms.
