I am currently taking a gap year after high school and I plan in to enter university in the fall. I am very involved with my family of 5 and my extended family with young children. I have spent this past year travelling Europe and exploring more of the world! I love to keep myself busy whether that be journaling, scrapbooking, reading, baking, playing piano, hanging out with friends or family. I really love children and all my jobs in the past have involved working with kids. I find a lot of joy in making connections with children and watching them learn and discover new things!

I have worked at a summer day camp where I was responsible for a group of young children helping in activities and leading their learning. I have also worked as a swim instructor for children of many ages and abilities. Teaching them skills through games and activities to keep them engaged. I have babysat for many years with a variety of children, preparing meals and engaging with them in games and crafts. Finally I have worked at an overnight camp where I was be responsible for a group of 8 young girls, helping them to do normal daily tasks while making sure they stay healthy and have fun with all programming. In other areas I would lead games at the waterfront with large groups of children as well.
