Nishta S.
I'm Nishta. I'm originally from India but moved to Canada around 11 years ago. Right now, I'm in my third year at the University of Waterloo, studying science and aviation. Yep, I'm 20 years young and ready to take on the world! When I'm not busy with my studies, you'll find me up in the skies, flying planes and exploring the great blue yonder. But I also have a softer side—I love playing the piano and creating beautiful melodies. And of course, hanging out with my friends is a must! We have the best time together, laughing and making memories. As a nanny, I bring my enthusiasm and passion for nurturing others. I believe in creating a safe and fun environment where kids can learn and grow. Whether it's inventing games, going on little adventures, or just being a caring ear, I'm here to make sure your little ones feel loved and supported. So that's a little snapshot of who I am—Nishta , the friendly nanny who's eager to bring joy and care into your child's world.
During my journey in the realm of child care, I haven't had the opportunity to formally engage in a professional setting. However, my real-life experience of nurturing and looking after my younger siblings has equipped me with an abundance of valuable skills and knowledge. As the eldest sibling in my family, I often found myself donning the mantle of the "super responsible sibling." I became a master of multitasking, balancing the art of changing diapers while inventing imaginative games that could rival the latest blockbuster. With a playful heart and a mature mindset, I navigated the unpredictable waters of sibling dynamics, ensuring that peace was restored after the inevitable conflicts. The role of caregiver extended beyond mere entertainment; it encompassed the art of patience and understanding. I learned to decipher the unspoken language of toddlers, deciphering their needs and desires like a seasoned detective. Whether it was preparing meals, organizing playdates, or providing a listening ear during temperamental moments, I became a reliable source of support for my younger siblings. While my experience may not come with official accolades or certificates, it has instilled in me a deep sense of responsibility, compassion, and adaptability. These qualities, coupled with my ability to infuse humor into challenging situations, enable me to establish a nurturing and engaging environment for children. In conclusion, my journey as a caregiver may have been an informal one, but it has sculpted me into a polite, funny, and mature individual who understands the intricate dance of child care. I am excited to bring my unique blend of sibling wisdom and personal growth to any professional child care role I embark upon.
