I'm Erika and I am 23 years old. I have my Honours Bachelor degree in Social Development Studies from the University of Waterloo. I am currently in school to complete my Masters in Counselling Psychology. I love being creative, reading, and spending time outdoors. I am CPR and First Aid Certified and can provide a vulnerable sector check. I have my G license and a reliable vehicle. I absolutely love working with children and have 3 younger sisters of my own.

I have experience babysitting full time in the summer when I was in high school for a family with 2 children- ages 6 and 3. During summer 2023 I babysat for a 5 year old full time. In high school, I also did part-time babysitting for 8 other families. I have experience working with children as young as 0 and as old as 12 through both babysitting and summer employment at a library (and summer camps within this role). I am flexible and have great problem solving skills. I pride myself in being kind, patient, and enthusiastic. I have experience creating meaningful and fun activities for children to engage in. I also have experience preparing meals and cleaning up after children, as well as diapering, and bathing. I currently tutor with United for Literacy in their Reading Buddies program and have been a tutor for 4 years. I babysit occasionally for 3 families now, and I’m looking for part-time/occasional work in the afternoon/evening and on the weekends.
