🌷 Hello everyone! My name is Lais, and I’m currently offering private caregiving and childcare services in Victoria, Langford, Colwood, and surrounding areas! A little bit about myself! 😊 I’m originally from Brazil, where I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing in 2018. I moved to Canada in 2023, and I’m now a Canadian Permanent Resident. I’m also currently working toward obtaining my Registered Nurse (RN) licence in British Columbia. I’m very passionate about healthcare and always looking for opportunities to learn and grow professionally. I regularly take courses and continuing education to keep my knowledge up to date and improve the quality of care I provide. I have several years of experience caring for people of different ages and with different needs, from newborn babies and children to adults and seniors. My experience includes supporting seniors, individuals living with ALS, autism (including nonverbal individuals), OCD, seizure disorders, mobility challenges, and other health conditions. I have also worked as an English teacher for children, supported at-risk children, and worked as a nursing tutor. I also have experience and a good understanding of dietary restrictions, special dietary needs, and preparing meals according to individual health conditions, nutritional requirements, and personal preferences. I understand how important proper nutrition is, especially when caring for people with specific health needs. I currently work as a Health Care Assistant, providing personalized care and helping seniors maintain their dignity, comfort, independence, and quality of life. Some of the services I can offer include: * Personal care, bathing, dressing, and hygiene * Mobility assistance, transfers, and fall prevention * Medication reminders and assistance within my scope * Meal planning and preparation, including meals for individuals with dietary restrictions and special nutritional needs * Light housekeeping, laundry, and home organization * Companionship, walks, outings, and meaningful activities * Grocery shopping and errands * Support with daily routines and activities of daily living * Respite care and additional support for families * Newborn, infant, and childcare support A little more about me personally! ❤️ I’m a wife and a mom, a non-smoker, and someone who genuinely enjoys taking care of others. I consider myself patient, kind, responsible, organized, attentive, and easygoing. I love cooking, keeping things clean and organized, going for walks, spending time outdoors, and enjoying nature. I’m also someone who loves a good conversation, listening to people’s stories, and building meaningful connections. For me, caregiving is not just about completing tasks. It’s about making someone feel safe, respected, comfortable, and genuinely cared for. I believe that every person deserves to be treated with kindness, patience, dignity, and compassion, regardless of their age or circumstances. I also understand how important it is for families to feel confident and at peace knowing their loved ones are in good hands. I always do my best to provide the same care and respect I would want for my own family. 🌸 Availability & Rates I’m currently looking for part-time private caregiving and childcare opportunities. My rates start at $35/hour, depending on the level of care needed, responsibilities, and hours required. I’m happy to discuss your family’s needs and find an arrangement that works well for everyone. Please feel free to send me a private message! I’d be happy to chat, answer any questions, and share my resume and references. Thank you so much for taking the time to read my post! ❤️ I have experience caring for children and providing a safe, nurturing and supportive environment. My experience includes preparing meals, helping with daily routines, engaging children in age-appropriate activities and play, and supporting their emotional and developmental needs. I like to be called Bia (like a nickname). My family is my life. But I also love to dedicate myself to various activities. I love running, hiking, and dancing. I also love listening to music, puzzles, painting, and arts in general. And when I'm at the playground with the kids, I usually play with them, do monkey bars, slides, and have fun together. My name is Bianca, and I'm a mom of two adorable children who are now in school (Grade 1 and Grade 4). I've learned a lot about caregiving as a mother and aunt. I quit my job to care for my children full-time. We read a lot together and do manu activities that help with motor coordination, including daily activities (like cooking small meals, appropriate for each child's age). Since arriving in Canada, I've worked as a caregiver, providing respectful and compassionate care. I'm CPR+First Aid certified. I also have a Class 5 driver's license and my own vehicle.

My childcare career started as babysitting as a teenager and quickly turned into my career as I discovered my passion for helping not only children, but their families thrive and flourish. I have 6 years of professional nanny specializing in infancy and toddlerhood, however I have worked with all age groups. I also taught as an educators assistant at an early learning years centre for 4 years prior to nannying. I have also worked with children with additional needs such as ADHD, autism, OCD, and global development delay. I take a gentle caregiving approach to childcare, and my care is inspired by a blend of Waldorf and Montessori philosophies. I treat each child as their own individual, unique selves and prepare an environment that allows each child to succeed based on their interests and needs at the time. I am an absolute nature lover, and ensure outdoor play and appreciation of the natural world around us is carried through my care. I spend plenty of time in nature with nanny children in all weather (as long as it is safe to do so), and often go on small hikes and wanders through forests. Fallen logs and creepy crawlers are some of the best teachers in my opinion! Aside from outdoor play, I enjoy providing activities such as space for imaginative play, cooking and baking, story time, and arts and crafts. I also enjoy exploring the community with the children I care for and attend libraries, playgroups, public swims, and other community activities. For this reason, my ideal family is comfortable with me driving their child(ren) with my personal vehicle or theirs. About myself: Hi! I'm Bryana, but commonly go by Bry (Bree). I'm an avid traveller and nature lover. Over 2024 and 2025, I spent 9 months around Asia, Australia, and Europe. Travelling has given me incredible experiences and perspective, I've learned so much about the world and different ways of living over the last 3/4 of the year. When I'm not travelling, you can find me hiking, camping, and swimming with my little dog Rosie. I also have a creative side and love to design and create clothing-- a bonus for you as I love to make my nanny kiddos handmade clothes! I love curling up with a book and spending time with family and friends. I am CPR-C and first aid certified and have a police records check. I have a safe, 4 door vehicle able to accommodate car seats and a full G-license. I am able to provide references from past employers after serious interest is expressed on both sides. I’m looking to add a few days to my existing schedule as I work with a family Wednesday through Friday, so my availability is on weekends and Monday/ Tuesday. My current nanny family is interested in share, so if that catches your interest feel free to message me to discuss! I've been working in childcare for the last 13 years through daycare centres, nannying and babysitting. I worked as an educator's assistant in the toddler room of a licensed childcare centre for 4 years, before pursuing nannying to be connect deeper with the families I was working with. I specialize in toddlerhood and infancy, however I have experience caring for newborns up to teenagers. I have experience with all aspects of childcare including facilitating safe sleep, preparing nutritious meals, baby lead weaning, homework help, diapering and potty training, and providing a safe space for children to grow and flourish. My most recent position was nannying in a share with two lovely families for just over a year.
