Hello there my name is Patricia and I’m originally from Romania. I moved to Canada 15 years ago and I’m a university student. I’m studying psychology and would like to become an elementary school teacher. I did competitive swimming for 12 years with a competitive swim club called Vancouver Vikings. I competed at provincials and medaled a numerous amount of times. I have experience in child care and I’m teaching kids of all ages how to swim. I am very passionate about children and enjoy my time with them very much. Ever since I was young I felt so connected and close to younger children. I am able to develop strong relationships with kids of all ages, while keeping them safe at all times. I started babysitting when I was 9 years old, and I’ve had several child care jobs ever since. My last job was a full time nanny from 7am-7pm, taking care of 3 children; ages 9 months, 2 years old, and 7 years old. I am very comfortable using public transit, whereas I don’t have my full drivers license, but I am never late for jobs, and will always be punctual.

I have babysat children from a very young age. I’m currently tutoring 4 children, and my last job was a full time nanny. I worked from 7am-7pm with 3 young children; ages 9 months, 2 years old, and 7 years old. I took the 2 older kids to school every morning and then stayed with the younger baby at home all day, which included several walks, cooking/feeding the baby, and general hygiene for the baby. I have experience in teaching children how to swim, whereas I was an assistant coach for a competitive swim club for 5 years and I swam competitively for 12 years, and I am a tutor for 4 young kids. I am studying education and psychology in university, and aspire to be a child therapist or elementary school teacher.
