From those first days I have known her to be a gentle, kind and intelligent individual. I became a family friend through church, and continued to witness her efforts to serve and care for others, especially as a volunteer in the nursery and in Sunday school. When she was old enough I was pleased to hire her as a sitter for my own two children. Brittany is, without a doubt, the best babysitter I have ever employed, and have missed her since her family moved away from Kamloops, although we remain in touch. She is a highly responsible young woman. I was always impressed that she took the time to play with my children and engage them in activities instead of putting on the television. She always did a great job with meals (and cleaning up) as well as taking care of the bedtime routine; from bath time and hygiene, to story reading and tucking them in safely, and having the authority to keep them in bed once she put them there. She even handled diapering and potty-training with grace. She did not shy away from learning how to use an Epipen when my oldest daughter turned out to have a peanut allergy. I am happy to recommend Brittany to you as a babysitter, or for any other position she may pursue. She is responsible and a willing learner. She is kind and trustworthy. And she?s great with kids.

She does not just observe the children at play, but rather engages and interacts with them regularly. She is an exceptional communicator and goes above and beyond to send me occasional text and email check-ins and photos of their adventures.
