Cinthya Mabel T.
My name is Cinthya, and I am an experienced, loving, and dependable nanny/house manager and Educational Assistant (E.A.) with over 25 years of childcare experience. Originally from Peru, I began my journey as an early childhood teacher assistant working with children ages 1 to 5, and since then, I have cared for infants, toddlers, school-aged children, and teenagers in both the USA and Canada, including children with diverse needs and disabilities. I currently work as an Educational Assistant in Victoria, BC, where I support children with diverse learning and emotional needs in the school setting. This experience has strengthened my ability to provide patient, compassionate, and individualized support while helping children feel safe, confident, and understood. I strive to create a safe, nurturing, calm, and stimulating environment where children feel supported, valued, and encouraged to grow with confidence. I truly enjoy engaging children through creative play, crafts, reading, outdoor adventures, sensory activities, educational experiences, and exploring nature. I also love introducing Spanish in a fun and natural way during everyday activities. My approach combines kindness, patience, structure, and initiative. I believe in supporting children emotionally by validating their feelings, encouraging independence, and helping them build confidence and curiosity as they grow. In addition to childcare, I am happy to support families with: • Homework help and educational activities • School pick-ups and drop-offs • Meal and snack preparation • Light housekeeping and household organization • Laundry, groceries, errands, and travel preparation • Managing routines and helping daily life run smoothly I have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, CPR and First Aid certification, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) certification, and extensive experience supporting children with special needs, anxiety, and diverse family backgrounds. Families describe me as caring, trustworthy, organized, proactive, patient, and dependable. Once I learn a family’s rhythm and routines, I naturally take initiative to help keep the home calm, organized, and running smoothly.
I have 18 years of experience working with newborns, infants, children, and youth.
