I’m Megan! I come from a supportive, close-knit family of 4, including my mother, father, and younger brother, and have always had a strong sense of responsibility and care for others. I’m currently a high school student at Mount Douglas Secondary School in an academic enrichment program, and I love working with children in both educational and caregiving roles. I have hands-on experience as a summer camp leader with Science Venture, where I planned and led interactive science activities for children ages 6 to 12. I also volunteer at Victoria General Hospital as a Social Engagement Volunteer Leader, helping to brighten the days of long-term care patients through creative projects and social activities—an experience that’s taught me patience, empathy, and attentiveness. Education is something I’m passionate about. I’m a peer tutor at school, a mentor for younger students in our academic program, and a math coach for middle schoolers. These roles have strengthened my communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills—qualities I bring to every babysitting role. I’m confident in preparing nutritious meals, helping with homework, organizing fun indoor and outdoor activities, and maintaining a safe, supportive environment.
