I am Ritu! Firstly, let me tell you that I am a fresh face here in the magnificent city of Victoria. Originally, I hail from the lovely province of Saskatchewan and I can't help but bring a piece of my heart from there to this new location. In terms of my professional background, I have an acquired expertise and hands-on experience in Early Childhood Education (ECE). The field of ECE has always been my passion and I strive to apply my learnings and skills to help in the nurturing and development of young minds. Gracing my personal background, I am a proud mother to my two lovely children, as I manage a traditional Indian household. Furthermore, I am an absolute enthusiast when it comes to engaging with children through various forms of activities. I have a special inclination towards craftwork and outdoor ventures. I believe crafting and outdoor activities help stimulate the creativity and curiosity within a child, therefore, I incorporate these into our daily routine. I also derive immense pleasure in reading out stories to children, especially at their naptimes. Sharing exciting tales of heroes and adventures with them are my personal favourites. These storytelling sessions not only help children explore their imagination but also encourages in them a love for reading. Moreover, resemblant to Mary Poppins, I am more than happy to lend a hand with household chores, specifically those that are associated with managing and caring for children. Not only am I adept at handling children's needs, but I also enjoy contributing to the overall smooth running of the household.
