My name is Katie . I am a 21-year-old student and part-time server, passionate about working with children. I initially began babysitting around my neighborhood in Vancouver, then advanced to the position of a school trip counselor and volunteered at local clubs. During that period, I cared for approximately 10-12 children, typically of elementary school age. Last summer, I worked as a nanny and occasionally babysat for their friends' children when I had the time. This year, I began working for an after-school camp, engaging with children at different sites until their parents returned for them. This experience has taught me that children need more screen-free entertainment and should spend more time in creative activities. Beyond my work with children, I enjoy going on walks, swimming at the pool, socializing with my roommates, and studying.
