Jennifer D.
My name is Jennifer and I have 10 years of experience working as a nanny. I live in Etobicoke and I am available to start immediately. I am a 44 year old woman who is a non-smoker and can swim well. I have my Bachelor's Degree, Certified Nanny Training, CPR Training, First Aid Training, and have taken College Child Education Courses. I am looking for a Full-Time, Live-Out position in a home daycare setting. I am comfortable working with children aged 3-5 and can handle four or more children. I am a Canadian citizen who speaks English and French. I have a clean police check and can provide excellent care for your little ones.
I specialize in providing a bilingual child care environment for 3-5-year-old children in the GTA. I am located in North Etobicoke beside Esther Lorrie Park. I focus on preparing children for kindergarten readiness, teaching art, French, math, science, English, and providing forest school activities. Children are exposed to nature through Forest School at Humber Arboretum once a week. We practice alphabet phonics, letter recognition, and CVC decoding daily. I participate in circle time activities at our local Toronto Public Library, where we practice counting, addition, and subtraction through mental math. We have a school garden where we grow our own food and learn about permaculture. Our science lessons include studying our local climate through the seasons, exploring our planets, their environments, and how they interact with each other. Additionally, we focus on emotions, communication, self-regulation, and class routines. Our program includes multi-sport activities such as soccer, basketball, tennis, baseball, swimming, park play, and forest school at Humber Arboretum. Moreover, we have cooking and baking sessions once a week.
