I am Shadee, a mature and responsible nanny with over 8 years of professional experience in childcare. I am trained in behavioral science and have a unique ability to understand and care for children with special needs and complex behaviors. Having owned and operated LittleGems’ Nanny services, I have honed my dexterity in administrative skills, client communication, and scheduling. I fluently speak English and have an intermediate knowledge of French and Spanish. I play tennis and enjoy reading which keeps me mentally and physically active. My approach to life and child care is well-rounded; I combine intellectual curiosity with a commitment to health and wellness. I am comfortable carrying out a range of duties including light housekeeping, preparing kids' meals, doing children's laundry, helping with homework, and more. I am dedicated to help adhere to special dietary rules (vegetarian, kosher, lactose intolerant, etc.) and maintain order in the household. I am able to provide care for infants to children aged 5, and my capacity for care is up to three children. I am available mostly during nights throughout the week, and flexible to work at mornings, afternoons, and nights during the weekends. Being open to a live-out arrangement, I am eagerly looking for part-time opportunities that require a nanny, babysitter, mother's helper, or catering to special needs. Working with children is a family business. I first stared working with children as a volunteer in a family owned Daycare. This was in 2015. Then in 2018, I founded, worked in and ran my own nanny company in Jamaica called LittleGems' Nanny. While in these capacities, my love for taking care of children because more aparent and now, I am dedicated to advancing my knowledge in the care of neurodivergent children. I am doing this by attending George Brown where I am studying Behavioural Science Technician. I look forward to joining your family and helping to care for your precious little ones.
