I am fun and patient. I love children and feel as though this kind of work suits my personality best. I like to be a little wacky with kids, invent games, play outside, make forts, draw pictures and educate them at the same time. I am an artist and therefore I am very crafty. I also love the quiet times like reading a book or using our imagination. I believe in healthy snacks on a daily basis. I have an excellent knowledge of games I can play and songs I can sing with them and on certain days I can bring my guitar and play music for them! I have worked in a daycare previously and I have my childsafe first aid certificate. When I worked at the daycare I created weekly themes (ex: whales ) and made crafts, music and played games based on those themes. More recently I have been a nanny for a little boy from the age on 1 to 3. We spent lots of time playing outside, getting fresh air and hanging at community centers on really rainy days, as well as doing all the things listed above.
