I am Shirley and I was born and raised in the Philippines. I took up Psychology and Caregiver program there before I got here in Canada under live-in Caregiver program. I have relatives and sisters here and family is growing. I had helped my sisters in babysitting my nieces and nephews. I am loving and caring and I love children. I am an active person for when I have my free or leisure time I go hiking, walking by the beach, attending yoga and zumba classes or even a simple walking around neighborhood. I am also creative, I like painting. In quiet time I like learning and be calm in reading.

I have 10 years experience in child care. From infant to toddler and ages 4 and up. I bring them to activities like going to the library for baby time/ story time. We also go to Family Center for play time and circle time. Going to strong start and playing with other children and learning was also one of our activities. I like reading to children and doing arts and crafts with them. Part of our everyday routine is feeding them, preparing food for the children, changing diaper, going to the park, engaging in learning and fun activities..light house keeping if time permits, tidying up toys. I studied AB-Psychology in the Philippines for four years and I took up a 7 month training/program in care giving. I also took up Early Childood Education and Care assistance at VCC.
