I am Anna, a lively 23-year-old with a keen fascination for the great outdoors. Having recently graduated from university, I now reside in Vancouver, sharing a quaint flat with my cousin. I am an outdoor enthusiast, spending considerable amounts of my time backpacking, and orchestrating such trips for kids. I also have a deep passion for photography and filmmaking, capturing the pristine beauty of nature on my ventures. On days when I'm not exploring, I enjoy sprucing up my humble abode and planning for the next big adventure. Over my 5 years of experience, I've worked with children spanning various age groups - from toddlers aged 1-2 years to pre-teens aged 10 and above. Notably, I also have experience with children with disabilities. I am confident in my ability to manage up to three children at a time. My role as a nanny extends to additional services such as light housekeeping, running errands, grocery shopping and meal preparation for kids, alongside children's laundry, and dress and bath duties. I also provide dog/pet care services and can organize and plan events should the need arise. My childcare work experience comes from babysitting, an internship, several leadership opportunities in a summer camp setting, and short-term nannying jobs the past several summers. One unique role I have taken on was serving as a developmental aid for young children with autism. The children were ages 1-6, and I had five under my care at a time. I would work full days caring for these kids and helping them grow in their development through crafts and activities designed to work on fine and gross motor skills. Another caretaker role I have had for the past two summers has been working as a backpacking guide leading trips for children in the wilderness for 1-8 days at a time, and facilitating safe and fun adventures in the mountains and in nature. This role was full-time (day & night) and taught me how to adapt, respond well under stress, and how to complete daily tasks while creating meaningful experiences.

My Bachelor's degree is in Behavioural Science, and I also have a Wilderness Advanced First Responder Certification and past experience as a Lifeguard. I also have my commercial driver's license (Class 4).
