My extensive experience working with kids was sparked very early on — basically when I was still one myself, volunteering with various youth programs and initiatives throughout the city in my early teens. When I began working on cruise ships, I started as a youth counselor, then coordinated the Teen program as assistant manager, and eventually graduated to Youth Manager. Besides the genuine enjoyment I get from working with children, I've found the recurring theme is the ability to naturally connect with kids at any age, and 'meet them on their level', so to speak.
