I am a passionate nanny, new to Vancouver. I recently moved here from the Czech Republic with my boyfriend. I enjoy the outdoors and staying active through activities like hiking, jogging and skitouring. I love to write and read, especially to children. My past experience as a Czech Scout has gifted me many outdoor skills that I am eager to teach to interested children. These skills include identifying different flowers and animal tracks. Caring for children comes naturally to me. I enjoy playing games, crafting, spending time outside, singing, playing instruments, reading books, dancing and engaging in conversation with them. I believe it is important to teach children to be gentle, not just with themselves, but also with others and their environment. I also value teaching independence and confidence through a patient and respectful approach. I believe that communication is key, especially with young children. I do not force food or touch, but the only non-negotiable for me is safety. I strongly believe in maintaining open lines of communication with parents and caregivers to ensure consistent care. It's also important to me to support the family's methods rather than contradict them. I make a point not to use my phone in front of children unless it is necessary. I do not use profanity or raise my voice at them, and I am a non-smoker. I am excited to explore more of Vancouver with children and I hope we will have a great time together.

I volunteered in a scout troop, tutored children with difficult backgrounds for a charity, worked in a private nursery and also worked as a nanny so I have experience with children of all ages.
