My name is Sterling! I was born and raised in Kelowna, BC. I grew up with an inherent love for nature and the outdoors. My dad always took me out into the wild, whether it was deep forest camping, foraging wild mushrooms, or hiking up a mountain side to ski our way down. He instilled a strong sense of independence and a love for self-sufficiency. After moving to Vancouver just over a year ago, I have prioritized my artistic outlets through fashion, dance, and honestly, any creative project I can get my hands on. I have discovered a deep love for yoga, stretching, while prioritizing my mental and physical wellness. Moreover, I have always had an inherent love for children and their creative, energetic bursts. It's wonderful to understand how to work with them, make decisions, prioritize their imaginative capabilities, and let them be kids! Sharing my knowledge brings me joy. With a love for safety and connection I have been a caretaker to many kidlets. Ranging from ages of 2-12 and up to 3 at a time! I have a love for creating an atmosphere for kids to be creative, kind, and conscious. I understand how important it is for a child to connect with a chosen caregiver and am very open to an initial time together to ensure a harmonious relationship.
