I’m a mother of a teen and a pre-teen, and I ran a family daycare for 10 years. Recently, I’ve been feeling the desire to continue helping families, but in a part-time capacity. I’m originally from Mexico and have been living in Vancouver for several years. Now that my kids are growing up, I’m enjoying having a bit more free time for myself. I’m inspired by nature and love walking, swimming, and painting. Working with children has always brought me joy, and I truly enjoy teaching and supporting their growth. My background is in technology, but after becoming a mother and running my daycare, I discovered my true passion: connecting deeply with children and being part of their learning journey. It’s been both a privilege and a source of fulfillment.

I have years of experience caring for children, beside a professional babysitter I'm a mother of two children (school age) and I am passionate about spending time with babies, toddlers and children. I like engaging with them, teaching them anything that is available to learn and in general having fun! I believe working with kids needs to be taking it seriously so I commit to provide quality childcare. I enjoy creating activities mostly outside but no problem being inside when is needed. I encourage mindfulness in children to teach presence and emocional regulation. Spanish as a first language so happy to teach it!
