My name is Maya and I am a 24 year old childcare provider living in the East Vancouver area. I have 6 years of childcare experience and am looking for a family to join as a nanny/babysitter! I have experience creating and engaging in activities such as art, science, and outdoor play. I love to be active with the children I look after and would like to do various activites such as taking them to libraries, strong start programs, parks, soft plays, and field trips (science world/aquarium). I have my drivers license (N - have had it for 4 year just never got around to getting my full). I worked at the JCC from 2017- 2022 doing various childcare programs! During the summers of 2017-2022 I was a junior and then senior camp counselor for the summer, spring, winter, and pro d day camps. Additionally throughout the year I was a teacher at the after school care program. I have experience working with toddlers and school aged children (ages 3-13 years old). During these years I was also going to college for Criminology at Douglas College and took a bit of a break from childcare to continue my studies. I am now looking to go back into the childcare field as a nanny/babysitter! I love working with children and their families and am excited to connect!
