I have just finished my second year at the University of Victoria. I am fun, outgoing and I love meeting new people. My movement throughout high school and university has taught me a lot of independence and growth. I live in Vancouver and I am looking for summer work to do. I love spending time with friends outdoors and being active. I can also enjoy chilling inside playing games, and doing arts and crafts. I have a love for theatre, singing, biking, swimming and yoga. My past job experiences have taught me the skills I need to be a strong leader and take initiative. In the past I have done work at day camps, participated in counselling in training, volunteer work, and organizational courses to support youth which has helped expand my leadership skills. I have completed First Aid, CPR and babysitting. Most recently I have taken a course to gain more knowledge about ADHD, this has helped with scheduling, organization skill and also confidence in myself plus others. Along with all the courses I have taken to help me become a stronger leader, I believe my positive attitude and creativity will help the children enjoy their time. I have loved all the work I have done and I am looking for a fun, rewarding job. I am confident that with my previous experiences it has helped prepare me well to be a nanny and get involved with the community. I am also confident that I will thrive on the opportunity to work with any age.

I started off taking care of younger kids and babies for families that needed help with child care on my street. I have babysat for many years. I then started volunteering at summer camps for children, eventually became a counsellor for youth and younger kids. I have done that for a few years now. I have taught leadership skills to youth and I have also taught younger kids how to bike. I am super passionate about working with kids, I love it.

I have currently finished my second year at the University of Victoria, I am studying theatre. I am trained in First Aid and CPR.
