Mercy S.
I am originally from the Philippines but am now a Canadian citizen. I love taking care of kids and have been doing so as my job for some time. In addition to this, I completed a program and received a diploma in Physiotherapy Assistance in Toronto. I have also worked at a Cardiovascular Clinic as a technician/receptionist. I have a 24-year-old son who lives in Ontario, and we are in touch frequently. I am a hardworking, patient, and sensitive person in a positive way. Above all, I am a God-fearing individual who values my work and upholds good ethics and professionalism. Just as my past employers trusted me with their children and households, you can trust me as well. I hope that we can establish a strong employer-employee relationship in the future.
I have been a caregiver since I entered Canada and am still working as a companion to a girl with a disability in a part-time capacity. I cared for her for nearly seven years before she moved to a group home. I continue to accompany her on the school bus in case she has seizures and needs me to administer her medication. I have experience caring for children of various ages and genders. I believe I am an effective caregiver because I have maintained long-term relationships with the families I have worked with, who still keep in contact with me to this day.
