My name is Aeiman. I am a Canadian-Pakistani, born and raised in Vancouver. I am 24 years old and live with my family, whom I support in my free time. I am currently a student studying Early Childhood Education (ECE) at Selkirk College through distance education. I have always had an affinity for childcare due to my upbringing and past work experience in a child-care environment. I hope to start my own daycare someday when the time is right, but in the meantime, I would love to work for a family as a nanny or caregiver, also helping with light housekeeping and other agreed-upon tasks. I am also a formally trained and registered Health Care Aide with training in providing support to both children and the elderly in various situations, always keeping the patient/client's interests as a top priority. In my personal life, I am a fantastic cook and baker, so I should have no problem preparing meals if requested. I can tailor cooking according to specific dietary preferences and needs. I also have plenty of experience with household cleaning and organizing. I am here to support YOU and your needs! Some things about me... I am a health nerd and constantly study different aspects of nutrition and biology in my free time. I also love to go on walks on the nature trail by my house. I have worked in a licensed daycare for 4 years, and worked as a private babysitter for a year for a mother in the UBC area for her and her 3 children. I am experienced with infant up to school-age children. I also am doing an online ECE program and have just completed a 12 week practicum working in a professional pre-school childcare environment. My personal non-professional experience comes from being the eldest daughter in my immediate and extended family! I am frequently entrusted with the care of my younger siblings and cousins simply due to circumstance, and this fostered my affinity for childcare in my adult life.
