I work as a part-time community economic development professional and have been a self-employed business owner for over 16 years. I am a parent of an 18-year-old daughter who lives with me and my partner in East Vancouver. I have a deep love for traveling, books, art, and music. I have always enjoyed being around children and find that I miss being around little kids now that my daughter is grown. I also understand the challenges of being a working parent and would love to help support families in the same way I was supported by amazing caregivers when my daughter was young.

I have had both formal and informal childcare positions for over 20 years, including a full year as a full-time nanny for two children aged 2 and 6. I have an 18-year-old daughter whom I have parented full-time and have cared for many children throughout my life. I also worked as a program director at a children’s summer camp for three summers and completed a Youth Care Diploma. I am highly competent and comfortable with children of all ages, including babies. I am calm, relaxed, creative, and genuinely enjoy children and helping them explore the world and learn.
