I am passionate about children, they have been my life for close to 30 years now. I love interacting and engaging with children, finding what makes them tick, what holds their interest and finding the key to their progress. I have 8 of my own children who have reached teenage hood and don’t need me much any more, I homeschooled them for 17 years, we were living in Asia at the time, when we returned to Canada and put them into secular school they were all well above age/grade level. My oldest has gone on to graduate from Cambridge UK with his masters degree, an achievement that I am awed by. He thanks me for being a huge part of his love for learning, something I am honored and humbled by. I take the same passion and drive for all the children I care for. Finding the key to their interests and helping develop and hone their interests through educational play, exploring, music, singing, dance etc. My personal hobbies are photography, and crocheting, nature and spending time with my big family. I have extensive experience caring for children, both my own, I have 8, and others. My own children are now grown and I am now using my vast knowledge of early learning, I homeschooled my own children for 17years, I have experience in Montessori and Waldorf methods of learning. I believe every moment for children is a learning opportunity and endeavor to use each minute to pass on information and explore the world together. I have currently been working for one family for the last 5 years and am not moving on to the next opportunity.
