Currently seeking a weekend and/or evening position (occasional or regular) as I currently care for an infant full-time (excellent reference available). I am gentle, nurturing, and supportive who enjoys playing and learning together! I love going for walks, snuggling and music. In addition, I enjoy creative activities to nurture children’s development and growth (baking, drawing, building toy sets, etc...). I have experience growing with the child, including feeding, changing, naptime/bedtime, potty training, learning to read, homework help, swim supervision etc… I have general cooking skills from working in a kitchen for one year, and additionally one year housekeeping experience from working as a maid. I am willing to help with meal prep, dishes, laundry, general tidying, garbage etc. I am a clear communicator, punctual, and value following the parents’ chosen care style. I create a safe and loving environment to foster healthy growth, and endeavour to bring positive energy to the household every day. In addition, I have 4 younger siblings and grew up as a mother’s helper. I have experience helping with chores, caring for dogs and bunnies, and preparing meals. I was homeschooled until grade 10 and am able to help the family with tutoring/homework, and I love to create/find educational activities and fun ways that inspire learning and curiosity of the world! Born and raised in Canada, with fluent English, I hold valid covid & flu vaccinations, FoodSafe equivalent, First Aid & CPR certification, clear background check and am willing to undergo a full Criminal Record Check + Vulnerable Sector Check, but unfortunately no driver’s license yet (maybe next year!). I do not have ECE yet but am interested in obtaining it in the future. I care for a 13 month infant full time and have organic experience from growing up with 4 younger siblings and additional experience from volunteering at church children’s service for 5 years.
