I encourage independence to the kids I am watching while making sure that my eyes are glued to them. To the toddler ones, I make sure that we have a lesson-equipped time in between playtime, that is to slowly introduce them in preparation for school. We mostly train kids to school activities early in my home country. I believe that we should start early in honing their gifts and we should be there to feed their curiosity.
