My name is Ruthie. I’m 51yo. I am from the Philippines. Came here in 2001 as caregiver. Also worked in a warehouse setting for 5 years but went back to being a caregiver and is working as such till present. I’m the eldest in the family. I worked as a nurse in the Philippines. I have no immediate family here in Canada, but met some nice people who became my “family” here. My passion is reading, cooking and puzzles. I love long walks, good food, big laughs and just spending quality time with friends. I am honest, hardworking, empathetic, patient and kind. I’ve worked with 8 families since I came here. Took care of 3 children the most. I like to play with the kids, read books with them, do crafts, take them to the park, bathe them, cook for them and everything in between.
