Hello, My friends call me Barbie, I am single (by choice), I live in the West End near English Bay. I am a healthy active 59 year old. I live a very simply, minimal life. I am a natural caregiver, I would love to help take the stress out of your life. My talents are multi facet. I am organized, creative, a positive personality with lots of energy. I have been cleaning, cooking and baking since I was 10 years old. While working at a large corporation (I just retired after 24.5 years) I also worked part time at high end B&B in the West End that had 8 rooms and a 16 guest capacity. It was while working there that I found my true talent, looking after others. I was a live in manager, my duties included everything, admin, customer service, baking, cooking, cleaning, gardening, organizing etc. I recently retired from the B&B. I am now interested in finding a new family to help and put my talents to use.

I love kids, I raised my own ADHD daughter (without meds), I am a born caregiver and love to look after people. I don't have formal childcare training/certification, but transferrable skills in that area.

I worked for 24.5 years in the field of insurance, I have CIP designation and ACS designation. I may not have childcare certification, but I certainly have transferrable skills learned as a single parent raising an ADHD child. I have been looking after children since I was 10 years old.
