Raechell K.
I’m a caring and creative person who loves making meaningful connections with the families I work with. Outside of childcare, I’m a devoted dog mom and enjoy spending time with friends, whether we’re playing board games or hosting cozy dinner get-togethers. I love painting, playing piano, visiting cabins, and exploring art galleries. My Sundays are often spent at church, and I’m always up for a good movie night. I also have a passion for languages and learning about different cultures. Above all, I’m dedicated to supporting children’s growth and well-being and bringing warmth, creativity, and patience into everything I do.
With over 15 years of experience working with children, including babysitting, ABA therapy, Montessori teaching, and child and family counseling, I bring a well-rounded, compassionate, and developmentally informed approach to childcare. I have worked with children of all ages, both with and without special needs, and I prioritize creating a supportive, safe, and engaging environment tailored to each child’s unique needs. My background in psychology and therapeutic practices allows me to provide nurturing care while also supporting emotional regulation, social skills, and healthy routines. I specialize in: • Creating structured yet flexible daily routines (meals, naps, hygiene) • Emotional and behavioral support through therapeutic play • Homework assistance and academic enrichment • Creative and engaging activities, including music and arts • Specialized care for children with diverse needs • Clear, open communication and collaboration with parents I have Intermediate CPR, First Aid, and AED certification, know some sign language, and speak a bit of French. I am reliable, patient, and committed to helping children thrive and to helping families feel supported. I am open to travel with families when needed and am flexible with compensation, understanding that each family has different circumstances. I would love the opportunity to discuss how I can support your family.
