I am a graduate of York University's Masters degree in Disaster and Emergency Management. I currently still run my small business and am a mother to adult twins. I love to read, study, and play various games (chess, sudoku, checkers, children's board games). I am a big fan of Robert Munsch and Terry Pratchett for humour, and am a big fan of science fiction and fantasy. I love reading to kids and playing up the story to them. I think the most important things children need as they grow up are a sense of play, adventure and learning.
