I am a graduate of York University's Masters degree in Disaster and Emergency Management. I currently still run my small business and am a mother to adult twins. I love to read, study, and play various games (chess, sudoku, checkers, children's board games). I am a big fan of Robert Munsch and Terry Pratchett for humour, and am a big fan of science fiction and fantasy. I love reading to kids and playing up the story to them. I think the most important things children need as they grow up are a sense of play, adventure and learning. I believe in spending quality time with children in a fun, warm and playful setting. Age appropriate books and hands on learning are key to their development. I love spending time with little ones in all their endeavours while keeping it tidy afterwards! Playing games, reading and outdoor fun are so important to keeping them healthy, happy and engaged. I am very reliable, a great driver and accident free. Through my business, I have had many years of cleaning and laundry duty as well! I'm a mother of adult twins and grandmother to a sweet and happy 4 year old granddaughter. Certifications and documents will be provided upon request including a clear Police Background Check (BRC). I am university educated with a BA and a Masters. I don't drink, smoke or use any other forms of stimulants.
