Working with children is not simply a career for me, it is a calling that has shaped my professional life for more than 15 years. Throughout my experience as an Early Childhood Assistant, Lunchroom Supervisor, Occasional Teacher, parent volunteer, and caregiver for children and those with diverse needs, I have developed a deep understanding of child development and an unwavering commitment to helping children thrive. Children learn best when they feel safe, valued, and understood. I strive to create an environment where every child feels a sense of belonging, confidence, and curiosity. One-on-one connection is my greatest strength. Whether working with an infant discovering the world around them, a preschooler developing independence, or a school-aged child building self-confidence, I take pride in forming meaningful relationships that foster trust, growth, and emotional well-being. My extensive training through Toronto Public Health, Peel Public Health, Ontario Early Years, the YMCA, and The Incredible Years program has strengthened my knowledge of child development, positive behaviour guidance, emotional regulation, and family-centered care. Combined with my hands-on experience, these opportunities have equipped me to support children with varying developmental, emotional, behavioural, cultural, and communication needs, including children who are Neurodivirgent, selectively mute, or require additional support to reach their full potential. In my current role with the YMCA of Greater Toronto, I plan and implement engaging child-centered programs, document children's development, maintain health and safety standards, and build strong partnerships with families. I consistently demonstrate patience, creativity, flexibility, and professionalism while supporting children's learning and development. I believe every interaction is an opportunity to encourage confidence, independence, kindness, and a lifelong love of learning. I am especially passionate about working with kindergarteners. Through both personal and professional experience, I understand the importance of responsive caregiving, nurturing relationships, and creating enriching experiences that support healthy cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. I take pride in anticipating children's needs and creating environments where they feel happy, secure, and encouraged to explore the world around them. What continues to inspire me most is witnessing children's growth, the moment they master a new skill, develop a friendship, overcome a challenge, or discover something that sparks their imagination. Being part of those milestones is both a privilege and a responsibility that I embrace wholeheartedly. I am currently completing a Community Service Worker Program. These studies have further developed skills in trauma-informed care, mental health awareness, communication, documentation, advocacy, and client-centered support, and have strengthened my understanding of emotional well-being, individualized support, and the importance of creating nurturing environments for young people. I possess current First Aid, AED, and CPR-C certification, along with a Vulnerable Sector Police Clearance I am a mother of 2 girls. Enjoy all kinds of music, being outdoors, going to Early On centres, doing crafts, puzzles, everything science. I do take the lead from the child. I have some experience with neurodivergent children.

I have experience with babies and children to age 12. I have worked with kindergarteners in TDSB for 11 years, and YMCA for 3 years. I am in school for Community Service Worker and Postpartum Doula. I seek a more one to one job because relationships can be built and children get the attention and needs met. I believe that you should observe and take the lead from the child to where their interest lie and empower them to make choices and explore their world. Children are just small people who with encouragement become independent and confident people.
