I’m currently in my final year of the Social Service Worker program at Seneca College. I really enjoy working with children and being part of their growth in a positive and supportive way. I come from a close-knit family, and I value patience, kindness, and respect. I try to bring those qualities into how I interact with children—making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and understood. During my placement at Chartland Public School, I worked with children in DD and DK classrooms. I also created a simple emotions chart, inspired by Inside Out, to help some of the children—especially those who were non-verbal—express how they were feeling. It was a small way to support communication and connect with them better. In my free time, I enjoy watching movies, listening to music, and doing creative activities. I like finding simple, fun ways to keep children engaged. I would describe myself as caring, responsible, and reliable, and I always try to create a calm and supportive environment for children.
