Siviwe G.
My name is Siviwe, but most people call me Vi. I'm a 23-year-old woman from North York. I am a dedicated, well-organized individual who has just over a year of experience in childcare. The roles I am particularly interested in include Nanny, Babysitter, Nanny/Housekeeper, Special Needs Caretaker, and Home Daycare Provider. Although I prefer working part-time, I am flexible about live-out and live-in arrangements based on your needs. I have a wide range of skills and experience in childcare, which include cooking, light housekeeping, running errands, grocery shopping, preparing meals for children, transporting children, doing their laundry and ironing, and assisting with bathing and dressing. I am also capable of adhering to special dietary requirements to ensure your child's health and well-being. While I enjoy working one-on-one with children, I have experience caring for various age groups, namely 1–2 years, 3–5 years, and 6–9 years. I have also worked with children who have disabilities. I don't smoke, I hold a valid driver's license, and I own a car which I am willing to use for work. I can adjust my schedule to accommodate working on mornings, afternoons, and evenings throughout the week. My education includes First Aid and CPR training. I have both a high school diploma and a college degree. For your peace of mind, I am willing to get a police clearance check. I will be available to start from October 2025, and am eager to create a safe, happy, and stimulating environment for your children.
I provided care and support to children, including those with special needs, as a camp counselor and overnight student nurse. Led daily activities, monitored health and safety, administered medication, and offered emotional guidance. Collaborated with staff and parents to ensure each child’s well-being and a positive, inclusive environment.
