My name is Manuela Lozano, and I would describe myself as a very loving, patient, and calm person. I was born and raised in Colombia, and I came to Canada to pursue my studies, where I recently graduated in Marketing. I am fluent in both English and Spanish, and I truly enjoy teaching and sharing my languages with others. In my free time, I love spending time with my family and friends, having good conversations, and going to the movies. What makes me unique is the natural way I connect with children, families often say I’m the first person they think of when they need someone trustworthy to care for their little ones. I have experience working with children between the ages of 1 and 12, and I enjoy dancing, cooking, and creating fun and educational activities with them. I adapt easily to new environments, am flexible with family needs and schedules, and I believe that every child is a world of their own, often, adults learn as much from children as children learn from us.

I have over three years of childcare experience, including two years in Colombia caring for children of different ages and one year as a live-in Au Pair abroad. During this time, I provided daily supervision, prepared meals, supported bedtime routines, and engaged children in creative and educational activities. I also accompanied them to kindergarten, organized playtime, and encouraged responsibility by helping them with cleaning and organizing. These experiences strengthened my ability to adapt to children’s needs, create a safe and nurturing environment, and build strong, positive relationships with families.
