My name is Gabriela, and I’m a 24-year-old early childhood educator who is truly passionate about working with children. I was born and raised in Portugal and moved to Canada at the age of 12, so I’m fluent in both English and Portuguese and can also speak some Spanish. I have over two years of hands-on experience caring for and teaching kids from toddlers to pre-teens, and I hold both a diploma in Early Childhood Education and a TEFL Level 5 certification. I also spent eight months traveling through Asia teaching English, which gave me a whole new perspective on connecting with children from different cultures and backgrounds. I absolutely love animals and have two dogs of my own, so I’d be happy to help with pets as well! I’m comfortable cooking, cleaning, and running errands, and I have a full driver’s license with my own car. Outside of work, I enjoy swimming, nature walks, and music, and I love bringing that creativity and energy into childcare to keep kids happy and engaged.
