My name is Taryn, and I’m a nineteen year old university student. I have always had a passion for working with children, and I enjoy leading fun, engaging activities, teaching children skills, and encouraging lots of outdoor time in a day. I believe wholeheartedly that a patient, calm manner of dealing with things can go a long way in creating a safe, enjoyable environment for children. Encouraging healthy, safe behaviours, starts with modelling them ourselves. I have experience diffusing fights between children, calming meltdowns, and keeping kids engaged with fun activities. While in my care, I can assure you that your children will have a fun, and educational time. I am more than happy to arrange games, educational activities, healthy meals, and outings that the kids will enjoy. Furthermore, I’m open to anything that parents happen to need help with, including potty training, meal preparation, housework, and anything else that comes to mind.
