I am an experienced child and youth worker who specializes in working with children who have complex behavioural, physical, emotional, or relational support needs. I understand the importance of trust and play as the basis of building positive relationships with children, and I approach all children with patience and understanding. I have worked directly with children ages 4 - 18 for many years, primarily at overnight camps as a camp counsellor and leadership development program facilitator. During the academic school year I have worked as an Outdoor Educator at YMCA Camp Kitchikewana, YMCA Geneva Park, and YMCA Camp Wanakita. I am very skilled at making learning fun, and finding adventure in the outdoors. I am a COVID conscious nanny, and am looking to work with children and families who are still committed to mitigating risk. I understand how difficult it it to be COVID conscious in 2025, and I have the utmost respect for parents who have chosen the challenging path of continuing to protect their children during the ongoing pandemic.
