My name is Wendy and I love being a nanny. I came to Canada from St Vincent and the Grenadines in 1988 with the ambition of becoming a teacher, but life threw me a curveball. Presently, I am pursuing part-time courses in culinary arts, which is my other big passion. I had intended to cook for families and end my stint as a nanny, but it seems the world is not ready for this change. I have two grown children who are amazing individuals, and I'm proud to call them my heart. I love going on vacations and am an avid hiker. I also enjoy cooking and baking with the children I work with. The fact that I am no longer married allows me the flexibility to travel with families if required.

I am a dedicated childcare worker and have been for over 30 years. I love children and enjoy seeing them grow into who they choose to be in this world. I have had many great experiences with wonderful families, whom I keep in touch with even after the job is over. Currently, I have been working for the past four years with an amazing family and two exceptional boys. However, this job is coming to an end by August 29th, 2025. I have decided to finish culinary art classes, as that is my next passion. While pursuing this, I would also love to work as a part-time nanny. If a full-time position speaks to my heart, I am open to taking it. I know I am great with kids and trustworthy, and my references will speak for themselves. My top priority is the children I am in charge of, allowing the parents to work and be at ease. I enjoy reading, picnics, and nature with the kids.
