I'm Nancy, a 33-year-old woman who recently relocated to Toronto. I worked in Special Education for the OCDSB for over 10 years, primarily in primary autism units. I have provided private respite for children with ASD, as well as varying developmental disabilities, and am comfortable working with children who are nonverbal and have high behavioral needs. I am passionate about child development and have loved children for as long as I can remember. I started babysitting at the age of 11 and have worked in childcare in some capacity since then. I am also a trained ambulance dispatcher and worked full time in that field before moving to Toronto. I am very comfortable in all emergencies and skilled in first aid. I play volleyball once a week and like to stay active otherwise. I have my own car.
