Jill S.
I'm Jill! I am a recent York University Communications graduate, living in North York. I grew up in Calgary, AB, and moved to Toronto for school in 2022, as I am in the early stages of my career, I have always gravitated and loved my work experiences as a nanny, children bring so much happiness, humour, and delight. I love thrifting, walks/being out in nature, fishing, and being with family. I have been in a long term relationship, no children and no pets. I have a knack for organization and keeping a home tidy. I hope to find a family I share common interest with so I can provide the best care, for both the parent and children!
I first started nannying for a family at 16, for three children, one with autism (ages 3, 8, 9) I would prepare meals/snacks, take the kids to the park and activities, be a comfort for the children, while maintaining a tidy house and keeping structure, I formed a wonderful relationship with the family over the years. I then nannied part-time and full time with a second family during university, who had three children (twins 8, brother 9). I took them to sports, activities, cabin, their interests and hobbies, maintained a tidy home, formed great relationships with the kids and family. I was then referred by my nanny family to other families to help part time, one family had a newborn that I would spend mornings/early afternoon helping with newborn care, postpartum help, meals, grocery, maintaining tidy house for 3 months. Another family had boys 1 and 3, I would spend evenings, occasional mornings/afternoons/weekends, helping with child development such as enrichment activities, games, food prep, and bonding.
