I have over five years of experience working with children in both home and school settings. I currently work as a Special Needs Assistant (SNA) with the TDSB, supporting students from JK–Grade 6 with their academic, social, and emotional development. I previously worked as a nanny for two children under 10, where I managed daily routines, outdoor play, meal prep, and creative indoor activities. I also have experience supporting children with disabilities through assisting a Pediatric Occupational Therapist and volunteering at Holland Bloorview Kids Hospital. I hold a BSc from Queen’s University and will soon be starting my Master’s in Child Studies and Education as I work toward becoming a primary teacher. In my free time I enjoy being active outdoors, art, cooking, and spending time with friends and family. Responsibilities included preparing meals and snacks, organizing outdoor play and creative indoor activities, helping with homework, maintaining routines, and ensuring a safe and engaging environment. Pediatric Occupational Therapy Assistant (Bowen Island, BC) Supported a pediatric Occupational Therapist by assisting children with developmental and motor skill activities. This included helping implement therapy exercises, supporting fine motor skill development, and encouraging independence through play-based learning. Volunteer – Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital (Toronto, ON) Worked with children and youth with disabilities, assisting with recreational and social activities designed to support confidence, engagement, and social interaction.
