Mariana Miroslava L.
My name is Mariana, and caring for others—especially children—has always been one of my biggest passions. I was born in Mexico and have called Canada home for the past six years. I’m 26, happily married, and a proud “mom” to three curious cats and a sweet dog who keeps us all on our toes. In my free time, I enjoy staying active through exercise and outdoor adventures like running and hiking. I also love diving into a good book, dancing to traditional Mexican music, and expressing myself through art—especially drawing cats and painting. I have a deep love for plants and find joy in watching them grow, just like I do with the little ones I care for. Spending quality time with family is at the heart of everything I do, and I bring that same warmth and energy into every home I work in.
My name is Mariana, and caring for others especially children has always been one of my greatest passions. I was born in Mexico and have called Canada home for the past six years. I’m 27, happily married, and a proud “mom” to three curious cats and a sweet dog who keeps our home lively and full of love. With several years of experience working with children in both Mexico and Canada as a nanny, educational assistant, and caregiver for children with special needs. I am confident in my ability to provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for your family. I have worked with children of different ages and developmental needs, always focusing on emotional support, early learning activities, and creating routines that promote confidence, independence, and healthy development. My background in Psychology (five semesters completed) has strengthened my understanding of developmental stages and helps me respond with patience, empathy, and clear communication. I’m skilled in managing routines, preparing healthy meals, organizing creative and educational activities, assisting with homework, and maintaining clean and organized spaces. Thanks to my experience as a Safety Representative, I also bring strong skills in hazard awareness, first aid, risk prevention, and emergency response qualities that provide added peace of mind in childcare settings. Outside of work, I enjoy staying active, running, hiking, reading, dancing to traditional Mexican music, and expressing myself through art especially drawing cats and painting. I also love caring for plants and watching them grow, much like I enjoy supporting the growth of the little ones I care for. Spending quality time with family is at the heart of who I am, and I bring that same warmth, positivity, and dedication into every home I work in. I am a permanent resident of Canada, and although my English grammar isn’t very strong, I understand well and I’m able to communicate effectively. I also speak Spanish fluently. and I am certified in CPR/First Aid. I also hold valid safety training tickets, including Fire Extinguisher Safety, and I can provide references from past families and supervisors who can speak to my reliability, compassion, and work ethic. Creating a safe, joyful, and respectful environment is always my priority. I would love the opportunity to meet and discuss how I can support your family’s needs.
