My name is Maddy! I am a reliable and enthusiastic professional with most of my experience in the Outdoor Education and Camp fields. I am taking this year to work before starting the Teacher Education undergraduate program at Trent University. I am, as I’m sure you could guess, very into outdoor pursuits of all sorts, canoeing, hiking, plant identification, you name it! Alongside that, I spend a lot of time working on more artistic hobbies as well; Lino prints, crochet, oil pastels. I have extensive experience creating programs for varied age groups in the arts and outdoors so with me as a nanny, it’s hard to get bored! I am a native English speaker, but also fluent in French.

I am a compassionate and calm caregiver who is not afraid to have fun and be silly with kids when appropriate. My background is primarily in outdoor education but I have also worked at a daycare. I am experienced with children ages six weeks through seventeen years, my varied experience allows me to be very creative and flexible as well as gives me an excellent foundation in risk management and program development.
