I'm Arunga from North York and I'm a college student studying Civil Engineering Technology with a keen interest in mathematics. This STEM background will be an advantage when helping with homework. In between my studies, I love to sing, dance, read, and learn new skills. I'm very sociable and always enjoy meeting new people. I'm very community-driven, always willing to lend a helping hand. I've been a nanny for 2 years, during which I've gotten the opportunity to work with children aged 1-5 years. While I'm adept at taking care of no more than two children at a time, I also take on various household duties. My responsibilities often extend beyond taking care of children to include tasks such as cooking, light housekeeping, preparing meals for the kids, doing the children's laundry, ironing children's clothing, helping with homework, adhering to special dietary rules, keeping the kitchen tidy, doing the family laundry, and cleaning the entire house. While I'm diligent, I also have a soft spot for the creative and performing arts, hence the singing and dancing. I love implementing this into my caregiving methodology, as it not only brings joy but also stimulates a child's creativity and development. In terms of availability, I'm flexible during the week providing care in the mornings on Mondays and a fusion of mid-day to evening care on Tuesdays and Fridays. During the weekends, I am available from morning to evening on both Saturdays and Sundays. My desired start date would be from 11th November 2024, and I'm seeking a part-time role with a live-out arrangement.
