Omolara Seun O.
I am a caring, patient, and hardworking lady with an educational background in accounting. I enjoy studying, crocheting, beading, cycling, and listening to music. I have effective communication and interpersonal skills, and I like seeing my environment clean.
I have worked in different homes to care for children in different vicinity, which include Scarborough, North York, and Downtown Toronto here in Canada. I work during the day, at night, and also overnight, as requested by the parents. I have helped parents supervise their children by monitoring their activities, ensuring they are playing in a safe environment, and preventing accidents or injuries. To promote learning and development, I conduct age-appropriate educational activities, such as reading, storytelling, arts and crafts, and problem-solving games. I feed children, change diapers, assist with toilet training, and ensure children wash their hands regularly. I put them to bed just in case their parents decide to go out on a date at night, and I help prepare them for school the next day by preparing their breakfast and snacks to be taken to school. I helped a child with difficulties in mathematics, and she has been acing her tests and exams since then. The parents appreciated my efforts. I provide emotional support and guidance in helping children develop healthy social skills and self-esteem. I maintain records of each child's progress, behavior, health, and daily activities for parents. I have skills in First Aid & CPR/AED for saving lives during critical moments and improving the chances of survival and recovery in emergencies like heart attacks, choking, drowning, and severe injuries with a training certificate.
