I am Barsha , a 28-year-old woman, mother, and wife working as a Child Care Provider for the last 6 years. Initially, I graduated with a bachelor's degree in science, however, I developed a great interest in the Childcare Provider job and did three months of training course in childcare in 2018 in Nepal. After that, I worked in a house for six years as a Child Care Provider in Nepal. On June, 2024, I got a Working Visa as a Child Care Provider and arrived in Canada on August 13, 2024. I work as a part-time Child Care Provider (from 15th August) in a house for a 6-year-old girl child in Wilson Avenue, North York. The child’s both parents are RNs and working in Humber River Hospital. In your request, I will provide the experience letters and references from my previous and current employees. I am seeking either a full-time or part-time job. My present employer is ok with adjusting my work schedule if I get a chance to work a part-time job somewhere else soon.
EXPERIENCE: Home Child Care Provider - Canada | August 2024 – Till date – Part-time - One girl child of six years old. • Supervise and monitor the safety of the child. • Prepare and organize mealtimes and snacks. • Assist the child with daily routines such as dressing, toileting, eating, and sleeping. • Organize activities to help children learn and develop their interests. • Take the child to school in the morning and bring the child from school in the evening. • Maintain health and other activities records. • Do any household assignment given by the employer. Home Child Care Provider - Nepal | April 2018 – May 2024 - Two children, One girl child of 6 years old and one boy child of 1 year old. • Supervise and care for children in employer's residence • Plan, prepare, and serve meals for children and may perform other housekeeping duties • Oversee children's activities, such as meals and rest periods, as instructed by the employer • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home • Instruct children in personal hygiene • Tend to the emotional well-being of children and support their social development • Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents • Provide age-appropriate educational training through organized activities such as games, crafts, reading, and outings • Take children to and from school and appointments • May be required to keep records of daily activities and health information regarding each child.
