My career with young children began at an early age of 15, when I took on my first job working as a babysitter for a family with three young and lively kids. As part of my responsibilities, I made certain that all their nutritional needs were taken care of. This was not limited to simply ensuring they had their meals at the designated times, but also included preparing wholesome, balanced snacks for them to munch on in-between meals. My culinary duties extended beyond just snack preparation — I also rolled up my sleeves in the kitchen and cooked their dinner. Cooking for children taught me to balance their particular tastes with their nutritional needs. Furthermore, aside from looking after the kids, I also helped ensure that the house was well-maintained. I took it upon myself to tidy up the house — making sure all toys were put back and that there were no dirty dishes in the sink — before the arrival of their parents. Doing so relieved their parents of immediate chores after a long day, allowing them to focus on spending quality time together as a family. This experience gave me a broad understanding of mindful caregiving and also taught me the benefits of maintaining a clean, pleasant home environment.
I babysat three kids, I played games with them and prepared snacks and dinner for them I also cleaned up after the kids before their parents came home.
